Maintenance Requests
Non-emergency: Submit your maintenance requests through the tenant portal (link), email (maintenance@portlandhomeslIc.com), or phone (503-777-0788 Option 3).
Emergency maintenance requests: If your emergency is life threatening, call 911 immediately. If the emergency is during normal business hours, call our main line 503-777-0788 and press option 5. If your emergency is after yours, cal the main number (503-777-0788) and selection option 1.

Tenant Portal
The Tenant Portal is your one stop shop for paying rent, submitting maintenance requests, finding rental docs and more. You can access it from your computer or your smart phone (iPhone and Android apps available)
Paying Rent
There are multiple ways to pay rent:
- Tenant Portal: Through the Portal you can pay by checking account (zero fee), debt card ($9.99 fee), or credit card (2.99%). These fees are subject to change and are reflected on the Portal. You can also do one-time payments or set a monthly recurring payment.
- Check or money order made out to Portland Homes. You can mail to or drop off at our office. The address is 4127 SE Harrison St., Milwaukie, OR 97222.
- Payslip: Payslip allows you to pay at a local 7-Eleven, Wall Mart, or ACE Cash Express. There is a $3.95 service charge (subject to change). Reach out to Portland Homes if you would like more information on this payment option.
Renter's Insurance
Portland Homes does require renter’s liability insurance (as long as you meet minimum income requirements. It is important that you understand that the liability insurance only covers damage that you – the renter, may do to the rental property. It does not cover your personal property. That is another component of renter’s insurance. Here is one article that discusses the ins and outs of renters insurance. While Portland Homes does offer liability insurance (through Great American Insurance) by no means are you obligated to get the coverage through us. You just need to have it upon renting the property. So do your research; find the solution that best suits your needs and pocketbook.
